My Second-Life Self

The second immersive environment I experienced this semester, Second Life is unlike WoW.  This time, my avatar was dressed in a business suit with natural colored hair.  At the time I chose my Second Life name, I failed to realize it would be my character’s name, so my gal was dubbed LakeBat.  LakeBat is actually pretty boring for a Second Life avatar.  She can be spotted at The Temple of Portunus, whether it be flying around or walking along the vast beaches.  Another haunt of hers is eGov Island, a more sophisticated place within the Second Life universe.  There, LakeBat mainly walks around the many buildings, reading the literature and watching the TV screens.  In both environments, she tends to keep to herself, preferring the comfort of nature to that of the crazier people that share the Second Life space.
